Kristen Villebrun and Wendy Bush hoped they wouldn't have to pray for Chedoke Creek, but four years after they first raised alarm about the water's condition, they were part of an Indigenous full moon ceremony to do just that. About 50 people showed up near Princess Point on the dark and frigid Monday evening for the monthly ceremony, which was particularly special as it focused on Chedoke Creek. The body of water that runs into Cootes Paradise had about 24 billion litres of sewage and storm water runoff leak into it due to a gate being left open.

Edenshaw's TANU Puts the Spotlight on Water Leak Detection due to Partnership with Eddy Solutions and PCL Construction

Eddy Smart Home Solutions Ltd.'s (Eddy Solutions) (TSXV: EDY) is pleased to announce an ongoing partnership with Southern Ontario progressive developer Edenshaw. The partnership started during the early days of the construction of Edenshaw's Port Credit-based luxury mid-rise development, TANU, built by PCL Construction. The first full-scale deployment through Eddy's partnership with PCL, the project aligned all stakeholders including the mechanical and electrical design consultants from construction through to operations, protecting the property from the builder's risk period to turnover and beyond.

“Sick building syndrome, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), recognizes the syndrome in buildings that at least 20 per cent of the occupants complain of the same the same illness: it can be headache, it can be diarrhea, it can be gastrointestinal illnesses,” says Gil Blutrich, founder and CEO of Clear, an air and water purifying company in Toronto.
