Water is a life-sustaining liquid. Water is an essential element of life because without it, everything dies. Because water is sacred, it should not be contaminated and polluted.
Students will be provided with a handout regarding the Medicine Wheel and its teachings.Students will be able to do a variety of large and small group activities discussing the teachings of the Medicine Wheel.
The Three States of Water: 1. Solid: When the temperature of water is lower than freezing (snowflakes, ice) 2. Liquid: When water is between freezing and boiling 3. Gas: When water exceeds its boiling point
Provide students with an opportunity to form groups to discuss how they would feel or react if someone tried to govern or tell them what religion they were required to practice.
